Thanks for the before and after pics. The Verdicare really takes care of the green crud. You saved them from further deterioration.

Thanks for posting this, I've been wondering about cleaners like this. I picked up a product called "Pro-Dip" last year but couldn't see that it made much of a difference. I might try this Verdi Care.

Not a huge fan of verdicare. You show decent changes with its use.

Have to admit that it really improved those rough cents a lot.
...but I still remove the liquid shine after use..
I just don't like the final clear coat on my cents..but that coating does add a layer of protection for the future..

I have an 1858 Large Cent VF30 in an ICCS slab that looks like your first coin for green debris. I am wondering if I should break it out and do the Verdi Care on it. I just can't decide.

Nice improvement on most of those. How long did you soak them in verdicare?

They all show improvement, some more than others. It reminded me that I have some post-acetone coins with verdigris in need of Verdi-Care that I'm neglecting.
I did some experimenting with it a little bit back and learned that dabbing off the excess is a really important step to avoid that lacquer-like look. Of course, if it does look too shiny, then I believe it can be removed again with acetone.
Also, I wouldn't call Verdi-Care a "cleaner." Acetone is the cleaner and Verdi-Care is the verdigris neutralizer and conservation step.
