Not sure about a Dryer Coin, looking closely appears to be "applied damage", just how I'm not sure, very minute porous made surface...nit a plating issue either.

Looking at the seller's sold listings, they are no stranger to selling damaged cents as rare mint errors.

Yeah and that really sinks because the good sellers who know their stuff and tell the truth get squat for their auctions.

Mind bugling ? yes. but how about the buyers? the winner of the auction has over 1800+ transactions ,meaning he is not a newbie ,sellers like this know as long as those buyers are out there ,they have a chance to dump their junk and profit from worthless damaged goods!
