Good Idea they are lot easier to track if you know where people are finding them. So an update on my last post I have found 8 Stanley cup quarters and one commemorative toonie in Nova Scotia.

5 minutes ago in the local store in Uprown / Midtown Toronto, ON.
They didn't have rolls, but loose loonies. I asked for 2 and got them.

Wanted to post the picture, but using a mobile now, while the image file iz large...

Somewhere on this forum is a thread where a legit 2017 toonie was found last year. I think it was submitted to a TPG for verification

Yesterday, in Toronto

The coin is much nicer in hand, rather then in mobile photo

I also got one of the toonies. Are the glow-in-the-dark ones released for circulation too?

I received a new nickel today (Toronto, ON). I've yet to find any other 2017 coins.

Complete Roll set from a fellow dealer today. The regular and special edition halves are quite nice.

Not exactly in my change - but I picked up ten rolls of quarters yesterday from the bank (Alberta) and found one 2017 (non coloured) and two Stanley Cups.

This afternoon I searched ten rolls of $2 coins and found six non coloured 2017s.

I got around 100 Stanley Cup quarters in almost uncirculated to uncirculated condition from just 10 rolls of quarters. That's around a quarter of 10 rolls of quarters being Stanley Cup quarters. Why did I waste my time going to the mint boutique last month to get 8 stanley cup quarters when I could have gotten 100 of them in the comfort of home searching through coin rolls?
