Seated halves minted after 1878 are scarce. Morgan dollar production skyrocketed and half dollar production plummeted. This year produced 10k coins. Thoughts on grade and problems for this one?

Tiny mintages in the 1880s for these halves, but apparently most were saved, and the demand today for mid-level examples is fairly thin. This seems to be a mishandled Unc and not that appealing, perhaps 63.

Higher than expected survival rate, lower than expected collector demand.

It looks like a proof in the images. Assuming it is then PF63 sounds fair. If it's a PL business strike then MS63.

NGC gave this one UNC details - improperly cleaned. Looks like it was struck from early state dies. I would guess the within first 10 business strike impression from newly polished dies.

MS-64 but clearly rubbed with a cloth. I'd personally market grade it around 62 but seems NGC was a bit harsh this time around. Maybe crack it out and give PCGS a shot.
