What's my best bet to find this? Should I just look on ebay? Can you suggest anything else?

First off, welcome.

Is this the issue you're looking for?

See: http://www.worldbanknotescoins.com/...1-arias.html

For the reasons stated on the above webpage, a decent specimen will probably be hard to find. And it's likely to be expensive. I've seen a PMG Certified VF-35 offered at $1,400. There are numerous online specialty dealers in obsolete currency to whom you might direct an inquiry, though.

There was a previous thread here (five years ago already) regarding this issue that tends to confirm its rarity and high price:

Lucky Cuss,

Yes, that's the one I'm looking for.

$1,400 is cheaper than I was expecting.

I for one would be interested in what you eventually find and pay for it, if you'll be kind enough to come back to this thread and update us then.

Here's one that just ended. It was $2,295 and nobody bought it.

There are two others I'm watching for $7,450 and $9,999, but that's probably more than I'm willing to pay at this point.

There appears to be a nice PGCS 35 example in the upcoming Central States auction on Heritage.

If only I had that kind of money to spend on a currency right now. Oh well. At some point in the future, it's good to know that I should be able to find it at that relatively small price. Thanks for the link.

I think you're going to want it TPG certified for those prices.
