East German banknotes have flooded the market recently, the harder one is the 1000 Deutsche Mark of 1948.

For for 25 Cents, I would have picked it up myself, even in the condition it is.
That is despite the fact that I really don't collect World notes, and it isn't worth any practical face value, because I do not live in Germany.
It just happens to be interesting enough at that price.

You could put that on ebay for 50 cents to open and watch the bidding ! Turning 25 cents into 50 cents is always good. |
