Here's an interesting story. http://abc7chicago.com/religion/rar...ing/1878946/A church member donated an 1866 Liberty Double Eagle with motto so that the church could have a building. She had been the victim of attempted robberies because of the coin and felt it was right to give it to the church. Live auction is April 27th in Schaumburg IL. It's at $140K already. A little out of my price range but good luck to the rest of you.  |

I wonder if dealers are going to be getting phone calls about this. All but one of the new reports I have seen on this have reported that it is "one of only ten 1866 double eagles that exist with In God We Trust on it".
