Seller had this 1940 Mercury dime listed with a grade opinion of Fine+ -- I think it's a LITTLE better ;)

What says CCF? I cropped from seller photos so forgive bad settings.

Kinda hard to tell behind that plastic, but low MS is my guess. The middle bands don't look quite separated in that pic.

Pictures are a little too blurry to tell. Could be AU, could be MS.

Adam , your right, it is better than fine+ .Looks more like AU-53 but sharper photos would have fine tuned the grade .

Hard to get decent pictures in hand, full cartwheel luster but signs of some light friction in the fields, I am not sure between AU58/MS62. Either way, a win. The upper and lower bands are mostly separated but the middle one is weak at the center.
