If the Queen were to announce her abdication, and went this year, would this be one of the few 2018 coins to bear her Effigy?

Well, its no abdication, but this coin has been out for a while now. Is it unusual that a 2018 coin is released so early? If she did go or died suddenly, despite the horrific print on it, surely it would be in hot demand?

That coin would certainly be more appealing to me if the queen suddenly did die, or they adopted the Jody Clark portrait next year, but I'll worry about that if and when it happens.
