Ok .. the two I have that look like a Lincoln bust are raised but is not very much at all.. one more than the other.. they look more like your 1957 than the others ..

Yes, they are all raised. Some more than others. The key to finding the less common, well raised ones is to search a lot of them. I go to the bank and get rolls, then I search for varieties, errors, and rare dates. As I'm doing that, the better Ghosters just pop out at me. They can be found on any denomination of any year, but the dies were over-used the most on the Wheat cents. You can go to your local coin shop and buy Wheat cents by the pound for about Two Cents each. The dealer pre-searches them, but not for this error. He sometimes misses other errors too.

There is a listing of coin varieties and errors already on the Web by someone more qualified than me. If his information was put into a book, it would probably be volumes. But here is a great place to start.
