I consistently check my coins against that site and Ive come across pennies that might have a gash in same pillar but maybe higher up from pic on site plus I have doubling of pillars. Would that mean my coin is worth money
Rest in Peace

A gash would be from damage. As for the doubled pillars, I can't say.

Your best bet is to post a pic of a coin that you have that you believe matches one on Wexler's site and get it confirmed here.

And, if it's not a match, you can get an explanation about the difference.

If you did find one that matched a listed coin, then, yes, it would be worth some money. It's not always a lot of money.

An incuse mark would probably be coin damage. (exceptions to this) But if the area in question is raised from the coin, then it might be a die issue.
Note how on this reverse the steps are in the wrong area?

But note the marks on the columns that are incuse. That is damage.

On a DDR on Memorials you can see a raised area inside the bay on the bay with the statue. Note they can vary in size and they are raised up from the bay area:

These are referred to as bar cents on this bay.
On the 1994 cents you can find some with extra columns:

Note again how they raise up from the bay. (not incuse)
Incuse marks may happen on coins in every location, but are often just circulation damage. (Coin contact with other coin and other things.)
