wish I had this one in hand. it looks like a little wear on the reverse but not 100%. AU58 looks like FSB to me

There is little to NO wear on this Merc. I agree looks like FSB . AU-58+++ toned down .

I'll go MS 60 FSB - darker colored from storage not from circulation.

This is one where you would like to see the coin in hand to grade it. From the picture there doesn't appear to be any wear. Can't tell how much luster (if any) is there. My gut feeling is MS 62. Agree with FSB.

Don't argue that it looks Unc, but seems dull and a bit dirty, so I said 58. Could it be a 62 or so? Sure.

@coinfrog - agree that the discoloration and dullness in the photo makes this one difficult. AU 58 may be the right call on this. Would love to see it in hand to get a better idea.

I would say MS-62 FSB, no signs of wear, and maybe some luster peeking through.

The photo is pretty difficult to get a sense of its surface qualities. I was going for details with that pic.

I shot a minute and change video of the coin. Apologies for the orientation, shot in portrait, youtube converted it to landscape. Details are still there.

I also have three Barber dimes that I received in this lot that are AU/UNC sliders. I'll post those over the coming days. I really appreciate the assistance, folks.
