Hello , I recently bought a box of coins at auction that claimed to be errors. The pictures I am about to post are just what I have handy to show my friend at work. Regardless whoever owned these before took a lot of time to find all of these and label them. Some of the errors are barely noticeable without magnifying glass .some are labeled wrong , etc. I'll post more pictures tomorrow it's hard to find a place to start, here's what I have on hand .

Link #1 is a Cud. Definitely an error.
Link #2, I personally see no error (but I'm no expert on Canadian coins)
Link #3 isn't working for me.

First welcome, only large miss struck or off set coins, off planchets, nickels on penny, brokerages, caps and the error on higher value coins are valuable, minor die chips and so are face value, pick out the best and let the pictures roll.

Only image available is the '66 quarter.
It is not a Cud error, you can see denticles in the lower portion, it is PMD, a blob of solder or such,
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

that was my first thought as well.

check silver content before assuming only worth face value, that '66 is worth $3.
