Hello Everyone, Finished going through a bunch of notes.. wanted to see if any of these would be considered fancy enough to hang on to? Thank you.

I'm sorry, but I see nothing here that would bring a premium.

Agree. rmsexauer - tell us what criteria you are using to sort your serial numbers. These numbers are not even close.

I don't know about premiums but, I think the closest to fancy is the second. It's almost a ladder but broken up by a single zero.
Still just an "almost fancy" serial, though.

I'm with the above. I see nothing here worth saving.

If you want to know the guidelines for fancy serial numbers, just ask.

On this particular group I was pulling out ladders.. yes none are a complete 8 digit ladder .. still new .. wasn't sure if one digit short would still be collectible.. same goes for the radar above .. 1766671 only one digit that doesn't belong .. I'm not looking for a million dollar find.. just any that would be worth putting aside that may be worth more than face value.. Is it all or nothing in the fancy note department?

Correct - all or nothing.

Unfortunately for serials, it's usually all or nothing. Almost doesn't usually cut it.

"Almost" never cuts it and thank goodness - can you imagine the nonsense.

So I do have another question.. with all the advancement in technology.. is it still possible to find serial numbers that don't match?

Yes yes. There will never be a day where a machine will not make a mistake. Until the A.I get smarter than us, that is.

@rmsexauer, if you enter the keywords "mismatched serial number" into the search box in the upper left hand corner of your screen, you can scroll through a whole bunch of threads similar to this one. One with a recently printed $100 with mismatched serial numbers is here: http://goccf.com/t/89600
