Hello all,
I found a 1972-D Kennedy half with no FG. Sent it off for grading. Any ideas of value?
Thanks

Who did you send it to? You should have asked us before you sent it. I do not think you will recover your costs.

@shotgung, we would need pics to confirm, but often this is due to extra grease building up in the die that prevents the design and/or inscription from fully striking up. I'm not aware of much of any premium for this condition.

I don't know how much ICG charges since I never considered sending anything into them. I saw in the CRH forums that you valued this coin at over $250. I think you would get a fraction of that if you sold, and it's an even smaller fraction because you went with ICG. I see ICG coins on ebay with titles saying "$xxxx value!" where they cite PCGS values, then offer the similarly graded ICG coin for a fourth of that.

The top three TPG's are in order: PCGS-NGC-ANACS
Please post a pic of it in the slab so we can see the label when you get it back and tell us what it cost you all in,thanks.
