Hi,

I just checked through a lot of Franklin Halfs. I found this specimen, which seems special? Could this be a slight off-center strike? Most clearly this is seen in the Y of LIBERTY and T of TRUST, which are extremely close to the edge of the coin. Thanks for your help, Swisseagle.

If the reverse is centered you have a minor MAD. The coin has an over all odd look to it.

Hi Mrph, thank you a lot for your feedback. Very interesting. What would be the correct designation for this? Is strike error correct?

MAD = Mis Aligned Die

The further it is off center, the more it could be worth... typically the reverse of the coin is centered in comparison... (just watched a vid about this process).
