I think I like 07 the best but I can't understand why these coins are still made.

I like 16. 01 is actually my favorite but it might be too detailed for its size, and I prefer "Native American" over "American Indian" any day of the week.

Because they can sell them to collectors for a nice profit.

There's a problem here, which is that the 1st enrolled NA austronaut was John Herrington who flew on Endeavor STS-113 to the ISS in 2002. 02 is probably the most historically accurate for that flight. 03 is creative. 04 is silly.

But you can't use a living person's image. That is not to say that 100s of Native American's haven't contributed to the program for many, many years.

But how do you commemorate their activities without it becoming a generic space commem? I just don't get the connection with the Apollo Command Modules, the LEM, or the Gemini 6/7 Rendezvous (#18). I remembered the key words (Athena) to find the reference to Gemini 8 and 11 (#15), but that takes the cake for obscure.

I like the first one (and American Indian vs Native American).

I really like 02 and 13. No matter which design is chosen, it should really have a specific reference to Native Americans in the space program and not be generic, as @BStrauss said.

I am looking forward to this issue. Probably more so than the 2019 Apollo commemorative, if only because these will be normal coins and not the gimmicky curved beasts.

I really like 1,2,7 and 9. If any of those designs are chosen I might look into getting one.
