Hey I have 1921 Morgan I came across not sure if I should pay for the grading. I may just keep it in a holder with my collection. If y'all can take a look and let me know what you think I'd appreciate it. Pics below email if you need more it's not a problem. Thanks everyone. Being a Philly, youd need a 65 to make it worth your while.
BTW 62-66 prices are falling, according to Numismedia.

first of all, And about your Morgan, save your money on grading. If you post better pictures, then we can get a pretty good idea of the grade. Then you can guess the value by looking at past sales from ebay. 1921 Morgan is most common Morgan.

Grading would be a waste for this very common coin that appears to have circulated lightly.

Agree. Grading would likely cost more than the coin itself is worth! to the CCF!

Save your money and put it in a black ringed air-tite holder.

The coin looks like it has been dipped in a cleaner many times during its life. It is a silver coin and a collectable, but probably wouldn't get a great grade for it.

A nice acquisition. It's not uncommon to find coins as old as this one that have been cleaned. I've seen them cleaned a lot harsher than yours. While cleaning reduces some value, It's not the end of the world either. Your coin shows very little wear, and is highly collectable. I would put it in a safe place and see what the years ahead do for it's value. They're certainly not making these old 90% silver dollars anymore.

to CCF. A general rule of thumb for me is a coin should be worth about $200 or at least a desirable variety to warrant to cost of the grading companies opinions. I agree with Mark's suggestion to place it in an air-tite or similar holder and will add to spend the money saved on another Morgan.
