Over on another forum there was a thread about using animations for coins. I have used them for showing varieties and overlays, but I was inspired to try a full-coin animation. Here is the reverse of one of my toned 1941-D Lincoln Cents:

Luster-Animation---Toned-Lincoln

This is fairly easy to do using the lens-mounted diffuser I've been working with. Just point the Jansjo at different areas of the diffuser and snap the shots, then assemble them using a free animated gif tool.

Beautiful image, coin, toning and demonstration. I understand your technique, but I have a long way to go with photography.
