First I'd like to say I'm very new to coin collecting and I'd also like to say thank you for any help I receive. I guess I'd just like some input on this coin, a 2017-D Lincoln Penny.

That's MD. 1) mintmarks are no longer "repunched"(RPM) Because are hubbed in master die. 2) Seldom(if ever) are MM and other element both doubled pre '90's coins. 3) the devices are reduced in size,not increased as is a true DDO / DDR/RPM 4) there is a distinct shelving effect present.
