Need sharper and lighter pics,..and without any gray on the sides would be a bonus....better cropping maybe..

Need to see if any d/c's exist..or any RP's anywhere..

Heavily polished for sure and that's a big "no-no"..

Don't see evidence of polishing. I'll say VF-30 straight and quite attractive.

Not sure if it was polished but looks like it was cleaned with something.

Dorado, I think your coin is Haxby die pair PC59-8a1 (8a + E10). The E10 reverse die was probably used longer than any other 1859 reverse die.

Your reverse looks like a late state E10. The die was so worn by the time your coin was struck that many of the loops (notice loop 2) were worn away in the middle and there were metal flow lines worn into the die at the outer tips (notice leaf 3) of some of the leaves. The stem to leaf 9 in this state is also thinner from die wear than in earlier states.

Check out the full side photos for E10 early and late states at the bottom of the E10 page in Dr. Haxby's catalog.

By this stage of reverse E10, it was paired with Obverse 8a. Even though the Obverse photo is not clear enough to positively identify the obverse, I'm pretty sure from the reverse die state that it is 8a.

Looks like a VF30 to me. The surfaces have been altered though (either cleaned or polished), as seen in the reverse pic.
