Morgan Dollar With The Lettter S On Eagle's Chest

PineCone New Member United States 4 Posts	Posted 07/08/2017 1:01 pm I came across this 1904 Morgan dollar with the letter S stamped on the eagle's chest. Is there a reason for this, or did someone just disfigure the coin for some reason? Report this Post to the Staff

People sometimes put initials on coins and gave them as love tokens. With just one letter....probably just someone marking their territory. Report this Post to the Staff
