Quote: "Excuse me, please could I have five rolls of quarters?" "Sorry, Sir. I don't feel like giving them to you today!" I must confess, I went to school and have worked with a few Moodys. Some were certainly victims of nominative determinism.

Last year a guy took his girl friend to the Superbowl They had great seats right behind their team's bench.
After the game, he asked her how she liked it.
"Oh, I really liked it," she replied, " but I just couldn't understand why they were killing each other over 25 cents." Dumbfounded, her boyfriend asked, "What do you mean?"
"Well, they flipped a coin, one team got it, then for the rest of the game, all they kept screaming was...
'Get the quarterback! Get the quarterback!'
I'm like...Helloooooo? It's only 25 cents!"

@westcoin - that should be "required reading" for many ebay sellers (and posters to the Modern Errors subforum!) I'm rolling here...

I've often wondered... If you live in Cincinnati and you want to go coin roll hunting, do you "take a walk, just a little walk... down by the Banks of the Ohio" ?

Many years ago a fellow coin collector and I had sort of an inside joke where we would describe a coin's condition as "B.U."
This could mean "Bright Uncirculated."
Most of the time, though, it meant "Banged Up."

Quote: "Banged Up." SquareCircle, the term "BU" should be banished from the numismatic lexicon. I won't bid on any coin when that overused term / phrase is used in the title of the auction.
