My wife and I went for a hike in a nearby state forest here in SE Wisconsin and then afterwards stopped by a little drive-in burger place. We had a nice meal and then ordered ice cream afterwards.

When I checked my change from the ice cream I found this well-worn 1920 Lincoln Cent. It's worn and beaten, but it is 97 years old.

I've also attached a photo of my wife's ice cream cone. This was a SINGLE scoop serving at this place. We saw one young man who had ordered a triple scoop. It must have had about a half gallon of ice cream! We will go back here again.

It was called "Deep Woods" - Maple ice cream, with streaks of honey and caramel covered pecan bits. We both managed to eat it our entire scoop.

Nice find.

Good thing you chose today to hike as the last few days have been way to hot.

You're right, I look at it with my 10x magnifier and it is a 1929.
