Without looking at photograde, I see a bit of a flattened horn there, some light circulation hits. The verdigris and trapped dirt may be able to be removed with Verdi care but don't push it. It looks natural and original. My estimate is a net XF-45 AU50 value in it's current state. Probably has a detail of an AU53. Properly conserved, it might get AU53 if you don't harm the coin in doing so.

AU-55, razor sharp detail, nice coin. An Acetone dip might remove that green slim.

Real nice Buff , I agree with Acetone first then Verdi-Care. If properly conserved should be easy AU-55 .

I think this coin looks pretty nice. I just compared it with photograde on PCGS and to me it looks like the obverse is an MS61 but has a few dull spots that bring it down to an AU-58, and the reverse looks just as good as the MS61 they are showing. It would easily get a 55, might/probably get a 58, 61 is pushing it.

I'm pitching my tent in the AU-55 camp. I like it since that minor debris will probably let loose with a pure acetone dip.

Thanks everyone. I'll post photos of it after an acetone bath once I get it.
on an aside I also picked up a 1913 T2 but the photos are not good so I will post photos when I have it in hand.

after about 10 hours in the acetone:  If it's safe for the coin I think I'll leave it over night and see if the rest of the green will come off though as you can see it has already made a HUGE difference. Blair
