Medieval Coins From Europe. Real Or Fake?

Ive started collecting medeival coins and found some on ebay, but no clue what to look for anf if they are real or not. These coins caught my attention. Any thoughts on authenticity? Spence Moderator United States 34423 Posts	Posted 08/12/2017 07:45 am @Aasgaard, first welcome to CCF. Second it looks to me like you are looking at a couple medieval coins of Hungary. For whatever reason, these are often found in pretty amazingly good condition and these certainly could be real. You are right to be cautious though--eBay is a pretty hazardous place to purchase medieval coins. As you are based in Europe, I would recommend either vcoins or ma-shops as a preferred online marketplace. DavidUK Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 2624 Posts	Posted 08/12/2017 07:52 am I don't like the appearance/texture of the surfaces but I am completely ignorant on this type of coin so don't know if this is normal.
