Hi, good evening. How you guys doing? My name is Ari, I am new in this but I'm already addicted to it. I found a quarter from 1986 that looks beautifully weird to me. What do you guys think?

It appears that at one time there was a fin on the outside rim area that has flattened. So the die may have been tilted a bit and made that fin on your coin. Because it is flattened, makes it a normal coin. Here is what a fin should look like to be collectable.

The tilt of the die allows the metal to move part the rim in the collar creating a fin.
