Yes, MD. Very flat and sharp edges on the doubling. Plus it makes the letters thinner in those ares - a dead give away for MD. True DD will make the letters/numbers seem fatter.

Defintely MD.

Besides the flat shelves, compare how thin the doubling made the parts of "smeared" letters vs. some that are not doubled.

When the MD is this obvious, I still call the coin a keeper for its cool factor.

A keeper for sure. It is not what I typically see as a MD.2x2 worthy.
