I know it's difficult to grade banknotes from pictures alone but looking for your opinions on these 2 recent acquisitions.

Thanks.

Thanks Coinfrog for the feedback. I am going to be submitting both to BCS in the next couple of days. let's see if you nailed it! Any other aspiring banknote graders willing to give it a shot?

Il say vf30 with what looks like mold stains. Circulation wise it can't be any worse than high vf. It does look as if someone attempted to clean or restore it chemically and were not able to get out the stains on the back right of the bill, which is fortunate and unfortunate, fortunate in that it prob looked a lot worse, and unfortunate because those stains likely cannot be removed or further restoration may not be achievable. Very nice note though

And ef-au on the rbc note. Hard to tell though so I'd say somewhere in that window,

I'm sure the note has not been cleaned or restored to this point. The staining is possibly due to the note being exposed to humidity at some time but that is only an assumption on my part. Maybe it could benefit from some restoration or maybe just leave well alone. I would not like to speculate without expert advice.

BCS is tough on notes so, I'll say VF-30 for the $25
and, EF-40 for the other, big money notes you have there.

The $25 note looks like VF to me... the hard centre fold cuts into the design and there's a few other folds which would take it away from EF... The staining I believe is called "foxing"

The RBC note is a bit harder to grade because it looks like it's higher grade... I don't see any hard folds so I'm inclined to think AU or better.... but the exact straightness the edges are providing makes me think at one time it may have been pressed at one point.

Boy you guy's are good! Have got the notes graded at BCS and here are the results.
$25 - VF35 pinholes, minor staining and soiling.
$10 - EF40 original.
Thanks to everyone who had a go at grading these, as I said it is not easy from pictures and you were all there or there abouts.
