Omg sorry but I can not find my post regarding the years to watch out for errors. Ld/Sd (large date/small date, WAM and Cam etc.... 1982 has SD LD but I am out of town and I have a bunch of pennies to go thru. Please let me know someone posted about 5 dates he only looks for. Hopefully he reads this

Every year has specific errors, how detailed. LD/SD are 1960p +d, 1982p+d, WAM are 1988-2000 P mint only. For DDO / DDR/RPM = http://www.doubleddie.com or http://www.coppercoins.com or http://www.varietyvista.com. Doubled dies= 1995p(date,liberty), 1972p(date), 1983p & 1988p (doubled ear). Just for starters...look at all front/back for obvious cuds/cracks or irregularities.

I would look for:

1960(P) Small Date
1960-D/D Small Date over Large Date
1970-S Small Date (High 7)
1982-D Small Date Copper (you never know!)
1992-(P) & D Close AM
1998-2000(P) Wide AM

Then, of course, there are the DD's that you can find in links above.

Cu is the elemental symbol for copper.

ps. Ag is silver, Au is gold, Pt is Platinum, Ni is Nickel, Al is Aluminum

Does 2001-2008 not count for W-AM? If not, why? I only ask because I found this and am wondering if it is a W-AM, it's on a 2005D and has been the only one I've noticed thus far to be wide since 1992 for business strike.
I'm also adding a pic of my 1992 penny to compare it to.

The 2005 is a Close AM the 92 is a Wide AM, just as they should be.
