I found this penny on ebay, and neither me nor the seller, have any clue what type of error this is. It might be broadstruck. Any ideas?

The seller might have just read the post, because they JUST bummed up the starting bid, from $.99 (+$3 shipping), to $99 (+$3 shipping)! Smart move, as no one has bid yet!

Do not buy! It's a Dryer Coin I think and it's PMD. Not a error. This seller is full of balony. He wants 99 dollars for a coin that's not a error at all. This seller doesn't know anything about coins at all.

I hunted down this listing and I would bet that the seller inserted 99 bucks by mistake instead of .99 cents. He doesn't claim anything special about the steel cent.

I do however find the other listing he has up more interesting. LOL 172842797514

@TNG, I'm pretty sure that at least one of the Cheetos is a VAM.

Lol! Those Cheetos must be stale by now. You would be buying Cheetos that are stale. That's very funny that he is trying to sell these on ebay. You would have thought he have eaten them by now.

But it's the rare 194 steel cent - why wouldn't you buy it? They already said they have NO clue!!

I wonder if he sends those cheetos to Europe and if I can get my money back if they arrive here damaged...

Anyway, definitely a Dryer Coin. Money laundering à la lettre.
