If you have a computer think about the USB scopes, they're fairly inexpensive and work well. A simple software photo editor and you're good to go, once you're adept there...its how much can you spend?

you are way too close to the coin. pull back, without the zoom, and let it focus. it's easier to crop out the background than it is to try to fix the focus after the shutter releases (next to impossible).
photo editing software is like any other software... garbage = garbage out.
start with a clear focused pic and enhance from there.
