$87 Million is a rather large as Ponzi schemes go. Glad that he will spend his last years rotting in a prison.
Rest in Peace

The depths some people will sink to... Hopefully the people who were defrauded can get their money back.

The really sad thing is that all the people who sent this guy money could have easily bought gold and silver directly from a number of places and not needed to trust anyone. They would have their precious metals in hand, whether or not the end of the world came as expected.

Read this last night and thought about posting it here this morning, but I knew someone else would find it.

He will die in prison. I hope he rots.

Wow, I am glad he'll be rotting in prison for 21 years after what he did. Hopefully, nobody else will try doing similar to this.

They will, it goes on all the time.

And from the description in the article he wasn't running a Ponzi scheme, just an out right fraud scheme of send him the money and he keeps it.
