Hate to "burst your bubble" , sorry couldn't help myself! That does look more like a plating bubble, caused by a split plating issue on the inside area of 9. See zinc on SE of area?

There is a Split Plating Issue in the 9, but I looked flat at the surface and there was raised metal. So it's a combo. It's okay that you burst my bubble though.

I know Die Chips are common John1, but I like them because of how unique they are. :)

Also the first 9 on the date is showing Die Deterioration as well on the left sides of LIBERTY. There is also a linear plating bubble across the lower part of the bust. None of this will bring a premium though. Just good things to know when your are searching for items that are collectables on coins so you can put them back into circulation.

That area shows split plating from a too strong strike on TRUST.

I found this thread (Thanks Merclover) after finding one myself and the size really does stand out. The one I found was made a little after your's E&V since it grew in size a little.
