Looking at this penny the obverse looks like a lot of wheat pennies but the reverse is in much better condition. Most of the features on the obverse are flattened. The 192 of the date and the MM are the most prominent. I was just wondering if it could be Struck Through Grease, something else or just normal wear? Thanks guys. I'm still out of power down here this is the one penny I had saved on my phone so I might as well post it! Not overly confident in it

Doubt that there's anything error like going on here. I too assume it's normal wear.

Cool. Normally I wouldn't have even glanced twice at it but because the features were so crisp on the reverse compared to the obverse, and it still has a rim around the flattened letters got me thinking. Thanks guys!!

Everything mushy, but the date and most of the reverse has me thinking as well. Reverse showing a weak area opposite the bust.

Maybe under weight, but that would also be typical for a heavily circulated cent of this age. Thanks, Doug.

There are two separate dies at different stages of wear, most often only one is changed out at a time, only when declared DOA, use it til it breaks thinking.

I think that it is a combination of Struck Through Grease and circulation wear on both sides. LIBERTY is much weaker than the date (the I is almost completely missing) and the outer part of the date is significantly weaker than the 19.

On the reverse, AM in AMERICA shows major weakness that doesn't correlate with the other devices' wear.
