I think I can see the remainder of the FG, meaning it is most likely a minor Grease Filled Die. Still a cool find!

Better, but its a close call. The T of CENT does exhibit a filled sector, but unless I'd see it under a good lit scope, I still see some residual left, it isn't a modified coin that I can tell, one point in your favor.

The TPGs will slab a Kennedy half as "No FG" when it shows far more of a ghosted FG and/or remnants of an FG that was polished off. I don;t see the FG on this penny. On some of the slabbed ones I have seen on ebay. Some did not even need a magnified view.

Some graders in the past slabbed some of the cents, but now have stopped. (years ago) One person that was sending them in, mentioned this on another forum. They stopped slabbing them. (PCGS)
