I only four "holes" in my 7070 that I would like to have filled/upgraded; Classic Head Large Cent 1808-14 Capped Bust half dollar 1836-39 » Reeded Edge (Upgrade) Liberty Seated dollar 1840-65 » No Motto (Upgrade) Liberty Seated dollar 1866-73 » Motto I would also like to have a 18th Century coin...just for the heck of it. |

My grandfather got me in to collecting, he collected mostly 20th century, aside from morgans. Pocketchange mostly. He had tons of cool coins but I never really got into them , I always liked pirate coins and older stuff. Jus a facination with that era. Fell in love with mass silver. Not jus because they are from the first mint on us grounds, but the connection to our past . Figure two of our biggest holidays had close ties to the colony. Thanksgiving and halloween.The mint masters daughter married the the judge of the salem witch trials, how cool is that?!
