Hi,

I'm searching information about my coin. It's a 1958-D with the Border Stripped just like if a coin is put into another but with the size of a normal coin.

Thanks!

Pressure ridges from an Encased Cent, lucky pocket pieces. Or a jewelry piece?

Hey Crazyb0, that wouldn't still be the bezel on the cents rim would it? I'm looking at the area where it is damaged.

The damage on the tail side coincide with the top of the head of Lincoln so maybe it's a broken jewelry.

your coin is encased in a bezel(probably magnetic steel), you can see the broken tab at the bottom of the reverse.

with biokemist6. It looks like a bezel or "artificial rim" (not made of copper) is still on the coin and that's what is damaged.
