obv vf35 rev vf25 net vf30 Obverse is nicely detailed and the raised LIBERTY on shield is almost all there. Reverse has an eagle that shows a lot of wear, especially in the breast area. To me one of the few stunning features of this coin is the beautiful feather plumage on the eagle. This coin doesn't have that and the feather detail looks worn down smooth in the breast. Sort of kills it for me. This coin is a Barber design, so appropriate for the Barberman.

I can't think of a thing to disagree with in the previous post, except that mt overall opinion may be more favorable than his(hers?).  VF30 is what the slab ought to say.

I really liked this coin as a mid-level VF, probably a 30. The reverse is lightly struck, as is typical of this CC. It's hard to find them with a fully struck reverse, although they do appear now and again.
I wouldn't mind this in my collection if the price was modest.

I think this is an easy VF-35 based on the detail in the hair, face, gown, etc. I think it's an attractive coin that would be more than welcome in chesterb's collection of fine numismatic material.

My guess is NGC graded 40. I would put the coin at 35.
