All I can say is that you are devoting more time to this than I ever would have. Good luck to you.

Patience is something I'm good with...or is it subborness? Either way I don't plan on devoting too much of my time with this task. Ive had some good finds being curious and that is all this is. I found a nice coin along with this one and a few others and wanted to dot my I's and cross the T's.

The spots are sneeze droplets. Some damage on some of the fields and devices from circulation. The white stuff? Something that was not on the coin when it left the mint. Spender/toss into copper melt bucket.

Quote: There's more than just dust on that cent!! Glue? Polyurethane? Varnish? A nice acetone bath might fix it.
