It appears to be a 1 real, heavily worn, but I cannot get a specific attribution-catalogue #, country/ year (may be 1696 based on the 96 below "PLVS VL" If anyone can narrow this down, it would be much appreciated. I was fooled by what looked like a P in the upper right corner. Compare Sedwick's 1697 2R Lot 808 from Auction 21. Also compare Lot 821 for pricing of 4 Lima 1R's from the same period and condition.
