On a coin with MD ( Machine Doubling) the doubling will appear very flat and shelf-like, whereas doubling on a real doubled die will look like this: https://www.google.com/search?q=199...CgsQ_AUICygC

Note the size of the devices has been reduced,but I like your MD a lot it is a strong one and there are those who collect Strike Doubling.

Well, I thought it was MD but I wanted more opinions on the coin. I was hoping it was a true dd but Ill keep looking. Thanks for all the responses.

Not a doubled die. If you see it don't call it a doubled die. Mention Machine Doubling and not a doubled die. So if someone thinks they are getting a doubled die, they might give you a negative. Explain it well. Don't leave it as a question. You could get a black mark on your future auctions that will scare off future potential buyers. I would never sell a bogus coin like this. Worth what it says on the reverse. IMOHO

looking for a double die is like going four a heck marry and the forth quartar when you find one dont wake the nabors
