In February you asked about these, the forum graded them approximately, and gave you some values, as they seem to be rare notes. Since you've not opted to have them certified and graded professionally, you're going to lose a bunch of money on a sale.
Uncertified, and ungraded, in a market filled with faked Chinese notes, for material you bought 7 months ago for a song, that you've not even bothered to expertise. Why would you expect to receive a fraction of it's possible value?
I'm not trying to be mean, here, but you need to get off your own dime and do your homework or expect to realize a lot less return that you could.

I tried finding someone to grade them with no success. I took to my local coin store in Houston, and they didn't want to help me either. If you know so much, perhaps you could put me in touch with someone? I'm not trying to be mean.

Paxbrit, I'm taking another stab at PMGNOTES.COM dealers for grading. Of the 6 I contacted only one has gotten back with me. He's not up and running, but he directed me to the coin store that turned me away. Upon hearing this, he referred me to another coin store in town, so I'm going to try them next time I'm down there way. It's not as easy as it seems when you don't have the right contacts.

Great to see these notes again! I sadly can't be of much help regarding professional grading as I've never done it before, but I am anxious to see what ends up happening. Keep us posted!

Here is a second reply I just got back, I'm trying.
Thank you for your email. Have you researched those notes for value? Paper certification through PCGS, PMG is expensive and many Chinese notes are available very inexpensive on the market. You can do CGA (www.cganotes.com) online yourself very reasonably. I am on assignments till Dec. and cannot take paper submissions, etc. at this time.

That's unfortunate :/ Perhaps you could show a screenshot from the original forum topic discussion to help convince them that these are more valuable than the common ones? I don't recall how the value was determined back then - auction results, catalog values, ebay sale, etc?

I would not go with CGA they are not a well known grader. PMG for PCGS is the way to go. I thought that you could just mail in your notes for grading to PMG yourself.

Looks like you're going to have to locate a dealer out of your area and send them for submission, or you could join PMG and submit them yourself. I suggest you write down the details of the notes such as catalog numbers and values, then make a telephone call to PMG directly, they should at least put you in touch with a submitter who is submitting, and not inclined to dismiss them as 'inexpensive Chinese notes'. You also might consider Heritage Auctions in Dallas.
And, definitely take the effort to get some good photographs. Put the notes in a mylar sleeve and photograph them under a good warm light, about 5000K. You can get a 5000K LED bulb (flood, not a spot), at Home Depot for $15.
If genuine, these notes have some real value, and I would not sell them as raw notes. Do take the time and effort to have them certified and graded, you will thank yourself later when you make your sale.
