The altered color image show me that you are seeing MD on the USA devices. As well as the EPU devices. Note that image show black/white on those areas? That tells me it is all the same color because it is flat. Note on the left side of the first 'A' on AMERICA? That color is gray in varying shades. That is because it is contoured on that area. The other side of the 'A' you see gray and black because of the MD. Die movement has flattened that area and now it does not show the contoured edge. Looking closer to you coin you will see the flat look like this on the right sides of the USA devices:

The flattened edge will all be the same color, where as the contoured edge will change gradually. (note on my image, the vertical lines on the 'TED' on AMERICA show light to dark in color because the contour is on those edges. Here is another example:

Note on the image on the left show where the device was reduced in size/flat looking areas that reduce the size of the device, that are all the same color. The center image is a normal device. Note the color changes? The image on the right is a doubled die and you can see the color changes also with doubled devices that enlarge the device. So what can we learn from this?
1. Machine Doubling reduces the normal size of the devices.
2. The die is normal thus altering the devices because of die movement.
3. On a doubled die the doubling is on the die, so there is only one strike.
4. On a machine doubled device, there was one strike that after strike moved and altered the device.
5. On Machine Doubling the die is usually normal and flattens the device. (Yes, even doubled dies can suffer from MD)
Rest in Peace

@centavo69

By now, you must certainly be aware of what MD looks like. Compare that to what a true doubled die looks like. We are all here to help but, please do some research and learn how to distinguish the two before asking.

It's nothing more than MD. By now, you should know how to distinguish the two types of doubling. You have asked many times the same question. Any flat, shelflike doubling is MD.

Have you downloaded Crazyb0's work concerning this?

If not, it's top of the list here:

That will provide a quick, go-to reference when looking at coins for DD vs. MD or DDD.
