I see the Lincoln Memorial is tilted in the top one and not the bottom. There was another post about this the other day. I don't know much about it so the others will have to answer you question.

The first has had very little circulation.

The second has had much more circulation, and a few stains and toning.

Is that what you are asking about?

the first one clearly seems to be in better shape. Does that hold any value?

The better coin is still only worth one cent. If it was still bright red, it would be worth Two Cents -- retail.

Here's where I looked that up. http://www.coinprices.org/cgi/usrar...proof=&plus=

I guessed the grade to be AU50. I am not an expert at grading. And since it is not red, I selected red/brown (RB) because it is not quite brown either.

I use that site as a guidefor looking things up quidkly. The SOLD prices on ebay are closer to reality.

I agree with @buddy and the others that these are both worth only a cent apiece. Keep trying though--one of your finds will be a good one I hope!
