I picked up 9 un-circulated rolls of 1959-D pennies today at a garage sale. Truly never looked through. I have too many to post right now. But looks like 80% plus, have re-punched mint marks. And right now I am averaging about 8 per roll, an undocumented, as far as I can find, RIDB's. Similar to the one I posted a while back, calling it a Lincoln half hat. I am at 17 of those, and all have repunched mint marks on them. There is also other doubling. I will be researching, if you all can help, where to accompany this find, to get them all graded. Stay tuned and I will post more pics here in a bit. Pics are of #18 out of 120 coins searched, out of 450 total. of this variety DB, center head. This one is probably the poorest condition. Looks like it took some hits at the mint.

Looks nice but IMHO not TPG worthy. The die crack in the hair is common, and will need close ups of the MM to tell about the possible RPM. RPM's are also common that year. Quote: This one is probably the poorest condition wow, please post a pic of the best condition one. John1

I can't see any RPM on this example. It would be great to see a close up of one you believe does have RPM.

Nice pick ups! It would be nice to see some close-ups of the mintmarks.

The die that struck your coin is in the VLDS (Very-Late-Die-State) when your coin was struck.

Ok. This is just the second coin from my remaining 386 without the cracked die head. I am not going to be able to upload front an back of every coin on this batch. I swear, there is at least 250-300 of these re-punches out of the 450 coins I found. Maybe even more. I will start post as a reply here unless the moderator here can tell me a better way. I ended up from the 9 rolls, with 64 of the cracked head variety, with some having the RPM's too. I have not had time to go through them. Once again, any advise would be appreciated as I post these.

I agree with Coop, it looks like it is a DDD.

The Die Cracks are nice, but everything else you're seeing is because the die was worn.
