PCGS really pops these all over the grade map, it seems, but it should make 64 without doubt and 65 wouldn't be surprising.

I think 62 as there are quite many small scratches on the obverse. Anyway, very nice coin!

The obverse shows considerable rub on the high points, but the reverse doesn't. Also can't really tell from the pics if there is luster.
I'd say 58, but probably hit 62 (NGC) or 63 (PCGS).

I agree with Beefer, my first impression on the Obv was AU58 with the cheek and hair rubs but perhaps it is overlooked as that reverse is really nice. I bet PCGS gave it a MS63 anyway.

Very nice, I could see 65 for sure.

That is a Columbian Exposition Half Dollar ... which happens to feature an fanciful image of Christopher Columbus on the obverse ... which is made up as there is no historical record known at this time of his features.
It's not well know as a Columbus Half Dollar as you suggested in your topic.
I was going AU55/58 as well ... based on the obverse rub ... but it appears that PCGS has judged otherwise.

Really pretty Columbian! I think the Columbian is actually one of the more difficult ones to find/get in a look and grade desired. Nice choice.

There's a few contact marks on both the obverse and reverse and wear on one of the sails that might make a grade of 63 or 65 pretty accurate, I would think.
