58. obv more rubbed than rev. nice strike. color dark and less attractive.

I'd go with -53 or -55.
But the question is would a TPG think that the toning is covering problems.

Mid AU. Not a fan of the toning, too dark for my taste and it could indeed be hiding an old cleaning.

See, now I love this toning, assuming the pics are accurate! This is how I would imagine a coin from the 1870's to look like untouched and I bet you could get CAC approval if you submitted it. I grade this AU-58 based on the wear seen in the pics. I imagine some of the toning, especially around the date, wheat stalks and the right stars have a blueish appearance when viewing the coin in hand.
