I think it is an extreme case of Die Deterioration Doubling.

Extreme case of Die Deterioration Doubling do to the die being in a VLDS (Very Late Die State). The die probably struck a couple of million coins to get to this point.

Just MD. Die Deterioration for that side (left side of coin) would be on the left side of the devices. This MD is on the right side of the motto devices.
