It still shows up well despite the coin being well-circulated.

I see a lot of die flow lines, which indicate a late die state so maybe the die got damaged along the way.

Never saw one like that before.

But I don't see any doe die flow on the gouge. So it may have happened as the die aged. (was not present when the die was made)
